Cookies policy

What are cookies?

HTTP cookies (more commonly called Web cookies, tracking cookies or simply cookies) are small texts strings used to perform automatic authentication, tracking sessions and storing specific information about users who access the server, such as favorite websites or, in the case of internet purchases, the content of their "shopping carts".

In detail, they are small text strings sent from a server to a Web client (usually a browser) and then sent back from the client to the server (without being changed) every time the client accesses the same portion of the same web domain.

We use:

Cookies for the operation of the site
Social media cookies
Analytical cookies

We do not use cookies for:

Collect personal information for identification - your consent will be explicitly requested if we are collecting this type of information.
Collect sensitive information without your consent.

In more detail, the different uses of cookies are:

To allow a user to log into a website.
To customize the web page based on user preferences.
To trace the user's paths.
For management of the site: cookies are used by those who are responsible for updating a site to understand how visitors are visited, which path they make within the site. If the path leads to dead ends the manager can notice it and can improve the navigation of the site.

Many modern browsers allow the user to decide when to accept cookies, but reject some cookies does not allow the use of some sites.

The settings can be customized to enable or block them always, within a certain period of stay, to filter sites based on whitelist and blacklist, and to filter cookies that are used by the same server or even by links (often advertising) to hosted sites on different servers.
The working of cookies is totally dependent on the used browser: the user can set the browser to allow or refuse their creation and diffusion.
